SUMMARY:Come Together Session am 04.10.26 um 6.30 pm (CET): DANUBE IN A GLA
 SS – TRADITION THAT CONNECTS
DESCRIPTION:Dear friends and colleagues\,\n\nWe are pleased to invite you t
o an online meeting dedicated to an interesting and important part of the
cultural heritage of the Danube region – traditional and national drinks
.\n\nFor centuries\, the Danube has connected different peoples\, cities a
nd cultures. Along the river\, numerous traditions\, customs and stories h
ave been passed down from one generation to another. Among them\, wine\, f
ruit brandies\, beer\, liqueurs and other traditional drinks have an impor
tant place in everyday life\, family traditions\, celebrations and social
gatherings.\n\nDifferent parts of the Danube region have developed their o
wn traditions of producing and enjoying these drinks. Whether it is homema
de fruit brandy\, wine from local vineyards\, traditionally brewed beer or
a special regional liqueur\, each drink tells a story about a place\, its
people\, customs and way of life.\n\nDuring the meeting\, we would like t
o present different traditions and explore how they are preserved\, passed
on to younger generations and adapted to modern life.\n\nThe programme wi
ll also include two musical performances\, adding another dimension to our
journey through the traditions\, customs and everyday life of the Danube
region. To make the meeting accessible to all participants\, translation in
to different languages will be available via the Wordly application. This
will enable participants from different countries to follow the presentat
ions and discussions more easily and to actively take part in the exchange
of experiences.\n\nThe event will be held in English. If required\, inter
pretation can be provided in Bulgarian\, Romanian\, Serbian\, Ukrainian an
 d German.\n\nThe program:  will be uploaded on danect.eu soon\n\nAccess t
