We warmly invite you to our next online event in the frame of the “Fit4Democracy” project:
On Thursday, 5 November 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (CET), we will explore how digital tools can help us overcome language barriers and facilitate communication across countries and cultures. These tools can be useful not only for international cooperation, but also at the local level, when working with people from different language backgrounds.
In our session “Overcoming Language Barriers with Digital Tools”, Sara Petricevic and David Fichtner will introduce selected tools and demonstrate their practical applications. Sara Petricevic will present WordPress translation plugins and DeepL, while David Fichtner will introduce HeyGen, YouTube translation features, Zoom translation options and Wordly.
The aim is to show how digital tools can make multilingual communication easier and support inclusion and participation. If there is sufficient interest, we will offer a follow-up practical workshop in November, where participants can try out selected tools themselves.
The event will be held in English, with the possibility of AI translation with Wordly.
